I joined other America’s Frontline Doctors at the CDC in Atlanta. We are voicing our concerns about the experimental vaccine that is being distributed today. There are many factors that are concerning regarding the safety and efficacy of the vaccine. The vaccine has only been tested to determine if it lessens symptoms, not the transmission of the virus. It will do nothing to accomplish herd immunity.

After months of uncertainty, we can now conclude from US data that the COVID-19 death rate is approximately .26%. That is extremely low! Lower than the 2019 or 2018 seasonal flu. Cases are up as more people are tested. As more people have immunity they are less likely to spread it to someone else.

Important COVID Information
Scientists from Stanford University School of Medicine, UAB School of Medicine, and the National Academy of Sciences recently reported guidelines from South Korea and China indicating that an antiviral medication can be used as an effective treatment for Coronavirus Disease 2019.
Treatment guidelines using this medication are currently available in South Korea and China and have been reported as “effective treatment measures based on human studies” for COVID-19. The antiviral medication is considered safe and effective and has been utilized for decades in various populations, including children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. A prescription is required.
A Multi-Center Collaborative Group has established effective treatment measures based on human studies, noting: “This research must be confirmed, and it must also be ruled out that the subjects who had negative viral nucleic acid tests might not have been infected with COVID-19.”
According to human treatment guidelines from South Korea and China, this medication can be implemented today in the U.S., Europe, and the rest of the world. “Countries should immediately authorize and indemnify medical doctors for prescribing” this medication to treat COVID-19.
